Connecting To Your Home Folder
1. Locate your My Computer icon. It should be either on your desktop or on the right side of your Start menu. Right-click My Computer and choose the Map Network Drive... menu option.


2. In the Map Network Drive dialog box, choose a drive letter (usually P:) for your home folder . Then type \soe-b8.ad.education.wisc.edu\home$\<USERNAME> , where <username> is your SOE-AD Windows Network login, in the Folder field. Click Finish to connect to your home folder.
Connecting To Your Group Share
1. Locate your My Computer icon. It should be either on your desktop or on the right side of your Start menu. Right-click My Computer and choose the Map Network Drive... menu option.


2. In the Map Network Drive dialog box, choose a drive letter (usually S:) for your group share. Then type
\soe-b8.ad.education.wisc.edu\SOE_Departments\<YOUR DEPT NAME> in the Folder field. Click Finish to connect to your group share. If you're unsure of your department name, entering
\soe-b8.ad.education.wisc.edu\SOE_Departments\ will open a folder containing all group shares.
