Software Licensing And Support
Software
Library - Check it out!
The School of Education
software library provides access to many popular software
titles. Use software from the library rather than purchasing
individual copies! For a list of software titles and to request
an installation, see http://cimc.education.wisc.edu/computing/softwarelibrary/.
Note: The SoE software library titles
are available for use only on SoE owned computers.
Campus
Electronic Shelf
Software
available for download to UW-Madison faculty and staff. This
includes software formerly packaged in the WiscWorld suite.
Campus
Shared Licenses
Campus
shared licenses include software titles that are maintained
by departments or groups for broader use on campus. See contacts
for more information.
Purchasing
Software
When
the software library isn't an option, purchase software through
the DoIT
Tech Store or the WISC
Catalog.
Software Support
The
School of Education Information Technology Office provides
technical support for Windows and Macintosh operating systems,
GroupWise, Microsoft Office, and WordPerfect Office. For assistance
with how to use the software, we recommend consulting online
tutorials provided by the CIMC,
or consulting the training
opportunities available on campus.
