Join the Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education (WISCAPE) for an informative session centered on supporting refugee students in higher education.

Panelists will include:
Our conversation will include an overview of statistics and the living realities of refugees in Wisconsin, with a focus on debunking myths surrounding the refugee population. The panelists will discuss challenges that refugee newcomers encounter in the American school system; barriers to accessing college; and practices for supporting refugee students in higher education.

This event is cosponsored by the Center for Research on College-Workforce Transitions (CCWT) and the Global Engagement Office in the UW-Madison School of Education.
